Cleaning Methods

Overview
Regular cleaning reduces contamination risk. All steps are tool-free.

Between Each Cultivation Cycle (Routine)

  1. 1 Power off & unplug.
  2. 2 Wipe interior surfaces (walls, base, inside of lid, panels) with a cloth lightly moistened with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Do not pour or spray liquid directly inside.
  3. 3 Do not open the sensor compartment. It is a sealed area—keep liquids out and avoid directing moisture toward seams/ports.
  4. 4 Allow surfaces to dry to the touch before closing the lid. (The unit does not have to be bone-dry overall.)

Spore Filter Care (If Present)

  • Remove the fan grill, take out the spore filter, and rinse under running water until residue clears.
  • Filters must be completely dry before reinstallation. Do not operate the unit with wet filters.

Every 3–4 Cultivation Cycles (Deep Clean)

  1. 1 Disconnect power.
  2. 2 Empty the water tank and wipe all accessible interior parts with 70% IPA.
  3. 3 Keep liquids away from sealed sensor bay, fan motor, and connectors.
  4. 4 Do not submerge any part or use high-pressure water.
  5. 5 Avoid vigorous shaking or hard impacts while drying/handling.
  6. 6 Reassemble once surfaces are dry to the touch; minor ambient moisture in the chamber is acceptable.

Exterior Care

  • Clean the outside with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Avoid abrasives and harsh chemicals that could mark clear panels.

Quick Don'ts

  • Don't open the sealed sensor area.
  • Don't let water enter vents or seams.
  • Don't reinstall wet filters.
  • Don't shake the product aggressively.
