How much does it cost to run?
Modest. The chamber's peak power draw is a fraction of a modern refrigerator's, and standby power between cycles is minimal because the humidifier and lighting only activate once a species profile is loaded. Monthly running cost is comparable to a small LED aquarium light on the same schedule.
How loud is the chamber?
Quiet enough for a bedroom or a home office. Chambers on the SilentFlow 5V fan platform run near the noise floor of a modern refrigerator, and most growers report they cannot hear it running from across the room.
Do I need mycology experience?
