The Lykyn Smart Mushroom Grow Box is an automated home-cultivation chamber for gourmet mushrooms. It replaces the wet towels, the daily misting routine, the CO2 guesswork, and the timer-based grow-tent build that most first-time growers give up on inside their first two flushes.
Inside the chamber sit four coordinated systems: an ultrasonic humidifier that maintains the fruiting-body sweet spot, a paired intake and outtake fan array that exchanges fresh air on the schedule each species needs, a species-tuned LED array that fires the light spectrum mycelium recognises as day, and a sensor loop that reports back to your phone.
Do I need experience?
No. Tap the species in the app, refill water when it prompts, harvest. There is no substrate mixing, no sterilization, no humidity guesswork.
How often do I refill water?
The 2.8 liter tank runs a full grow cycle for most species. The app tells you when it is time to top up.
What if my first grow fails?
Every unit ships with a 12 month replacement warranty. If a cycle fails from a hardware or firmware issue, we replace the affected part.

Which mushroom species can I grow in it?
Pink Oyster, Blue Oyster, Black Oyster, Golden Oyster, Lion's Mane, Shiitake, Cinnamon Cap, and pioppino work out of the box with pre-loaded species profiles. Additional species are added through app updates. Any block sized for the chamber and inoculated with a temperate gourmet species can run.
How much does it cost to run?
Modest. The chamber's peak power draw is a fraction of a modern refrigerator's, and standby power between cycles is minimal because the humidifier and lighting only activate once a species profile is loaded. Monthly running cost is comparable to a small LED aquarium light on the same schedule.
How loud is the chamber?
Quiet enough for a bedroom or a home office. Chambers on the SilentFlow 5V fan platform run near the noise floor of a modern refrigerator, and most growers report they cannot hear it running from across the room.
Do I need mycology experience?
None at all. The onboarding is written for a first-time grower, and the species profiles remove every judgment call that would otherwise take a book to explain. If you can pair a smart speaker, you can run a grow.
What is included in the box?
The chamber, a region-appropriate power cable, the water reservoir with fill line, the growing shelf, and a quick-start card with the setup video QR code. Fruiting blocks are sold separately so you can pick your first species.
What is the warranty?
The chamber ships with a limited manufacturer warranty covering the humidifier, the fan platform, and the sensor board against manufacturing defect. User-replaceable parts (fans, growing shelf) are stocked in the Gear collection.
