What does the double-layer upgrade do?

Turns a single-tier Lykyn chamber into a double-tier chamber, letting you fruit two species blocks in parallel. Each tier keeps its own growing footprint; the chamber's humidity and airflow serve both tiers automatically.

Do I need a second humidifier or lighting kit?

No. The chamber's existing humidifier and lighting cover both tiers. The upgrade adds only the structural extension and the second growing shelf; humidity and light are shared.

Can I grow two different species at once with this?

Yes, this is the main reason people upgrade. Pair species with similar humidity ranges: Lion's Mane on one tier and Pink Oyster on the other, for example. Extreme temperature-mismatched species like Shiitake and Pink Oyster fruit better in separate cycles.

How do I install the extension?

The extension bolts onto the top of a single-tier chamber. Remove the top cap, seat the extension frame, screw in the four provided bolts, install the growing shelf, and replace the top cap on the extension. Install takes about fifteen minutes with a Philips screwdriver.

Does it work with every Lykyn chamber?

Compatible with every Lykyn Smart Mushroom Grow Box single-tier chamber shipped from launch onward. Not required if you already own a Double-Tier chamber.

Do I need the Triangle Shelf too?

The upgrade includes the second growing shelf. The Triangle Shelf is a separate accessory for growers who want a specific geometry, not a required part of the double-tier upgrade.
