Returns within 30 days
You have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return. Items must be unused, complete and in their original packaging, with proof of purchase.
A 15% restocking fee is deducted from the refund for returned items. The fee does not apply to items that arrived damaged, faulty or wrong, or to withdrawals under the EU, EEA and UK right of withdrawal described below.
To start a return, email info@lykyn.com with your order number. Please do not send anything back before we reply. Once we approve the return, we send you a return shipping label and instructions. We cannot accept items sent back without an approved return.
Items we cannot take back
Fruiting blocks and liquid cultures are living products and cannot be returned. Personalized items such as engraved handles, gift cards and sale items cannot be returned either. These exceptions do not affect your warranty or your rights when an item arrives faulty.
Right of withdrawal in the EU, EEA and UK
If you live in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. This also applies to sale items.
- To withdraw, email info@lykyn.com with your order number and a clear statement that you want to withdraw.
- Send the goods back within 14 days of telling us. We send you a return shipping label.
- We refund everything you paid, including standard delivery, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal. We may wait until the goods are back with us or you have sent us proof of shipping.
- No restocking fee is charged when you use this right. You only pay for a loss in value caused by handling the goods more than needed to check how they work.
- The right of withdrawal does not apply to fruiting blocks, liquid cultures or personalized items such as engraved handles.
Cancelling before shipping
To cancel an order that has not shipped yet, email info@lykyn.com as soon as possible. Orders cancelled before shipping are refunded minus a 15% restocking fee. Once an order has shipped, the return rules above apply. If you live in the EU, the EEA or the UK and cancel under your right of withdrawal, no fee is charged.
Damaged, missing or wrong items
Please check your order when it arrives. If something is damaged, missing or wrong, email info@lykyn.com with your order number and photos of the item and the box. We send the missing or replacement part at no cost.
Warranty
Lykyn chambers have a one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If a part fails, email info@lykyn.com with your order number, a short description and photos or a video. We replace faulty parts, or the whole chamber when needed, free of charge, shipping included. If we need a faulty part back, we send you a prepaid return label. The full warranty terms are in our Terms of Service. In the EU, EEA and UK, the legal guarantee under your local consumer law also applies.
Refunds
When your return reaches us and we have checked it, we email you to confirm the refund. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank may need a few more days to show it. If 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund and you still have not received it, email info@lykyn.com.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get a different item is to return the one you have and, once the return is approved, place a new order.
